The VAST Basketball Performance Training program is designed for Basketball players who desire to get better. Athletes within our Basketball Performance Program work on all the necessary skills needed to excel in their sport. Athletes train without the ball working on Lower Body Vertical Explosiveness, Core Strength, Lateral Defensive Skills, Upper and Lower Body Strength Development and First Step Quickness.
The idea is to train Basketball athletes to react quickly by increasing neuromuscular control and reactive neuromuscular efficiency through repition. This will in turn transform and average athlete into a more efficient and dynamic performer. Few people understand that the base of every sport begins with total body muscular balance. Athletes part of the program will gradually get stronger making their basketball movements easier and more explosive. Our program also stresses the importance of dynamic warm-up pre workout and static stretching post workout for injury prevention.
